They ripped me off (and others have said the same) with the "19.95 special". In the fine print, you don't get the truck for 24 hours.
Okay, I rented one at 7 PM, went home and to sleep, then started loading and using it at 7 A.M. But the fine print said the truck was DUE BACK at 7 A.M. Who rents a truck at night and returns it by dawn? I'm strongly convinced that they knew exactly what they were doing. The old A.M./P.M. trick. Cost them their best customer - plus everyone I could tell about it. Others have been burned the same way.

I’m shocked they allow anyone to drive a 26 foot truck lol. I’m moving a 2 bedroom apartment and decided to go with 17ft. I’ll be doing some city driving so I don’t trust myself making turns with the 20 or bigger

The biggest thumbs down I really ever had with U Haul was when I called support on the phone the average hold time is about 45 minutes, in the afternoon & about 25 min in the mornings.
