Great welding brother, as a retired motorsport and pressure vessel welder from the UK 🇬🇧 your explanation of pulse welding is spot on. Yes to do all thin wall tubing on pulse inco 625 and Ti down to .5 . Totally agree that pulse Tig is all in the preparation, joint fit up and welding settings.

So far your ability to hold that torch so close and not dip, as well as your steadiness is admirable.

Im new and learning. So I appreciated your videos.
A nice steel vs aluminum video would be cool. I have never done steel yet. Ordered some coupons, carbon, and stainless and some rod.
As for now just working on the basics. Height, rod feeding, and not being scared of the arc start. ;)

Great video, very well explained, I actually could follow you perfectly, and for me to be able to follow at my age (61) lol, ,I am well happy .I am trying to learn a new form of welding and I have watched 100, s of Mr Tig and many, many others but yours are so far the easiest and so well explained (and you use metric) brilliant . hi, a very good basic description of what the settings do for small thickness tig welding (and also thicker applications). You should also add information on how you maintain your gas coverage for the weld. bye

Funny that you prefer the 1/sec pulse because faster drives your eyes crazy. I found the same thing but it seemed "wrong" since I didn't see others doing it that way. Also found that it helps me keep the filler dabs consistent, especially when I was first starting out and was self-teaching. Great channel and well presented info, thanks!
