Just attempted my very first TIG welds, they definitely don’t look like his welds. Much harder than it looks. Good video, given me a few things to try.

What is so interesting to me about welding is the use of focus and muscle memory. Using those two things simultaneously is extremely mentally stimulating.

an excellent tutorial - consistent, structured, methodical and easy to understand - the instructors voice and tone was clear, not rushed which all contributed to understanding and grasping these fundamentals step by step - would be interested to know if there are similar tutorials which demonstrate the things that can go wrong - we talk about lack of fusion, porosity, cracking etc - in other words mitigating any potential defects arising in the quality and integrity of the weld - prof newman london uk

I’m a Refrigeration mechanic and I’ve brazed miles of pipe. To me the hand positions and process looks pretty similar.
