You should do an international business class shootout among the 3 legacy American carriers. American's 777-300ER, United's 777-300ER ("Polaris" product), and Delta's A350 ("Delta One Suite" product).

I actually had an okay flight on the way there! I was traveling as an unaccompanied minor so they were kinda had to be. I got upgraded to premium economy on the way to Philadelphia, and it was 1000x better than economy. Economy has no leg room, uncomfortable seatbelts and seats and pretty bad food, especially breakfast. But premium economy was amazing!

I flew the same aircraft in business class from HNL-DFW on a red eye and my seat was different. This seat was the zodiac seat where half were rear facing and mine was a b/e aerospace super diamond seat where all seats are forward facing. While this one isn’t bad, I’d say mine was better because it was definitely wider and had more storage while providing the same level of privacy. Also the ife system didn’t have to be stowed for taxi takeoff and landing on mine

Thank-you for the concise, yet informative report about your experience.  Indeed, AA does set their passengers up in a pretty nice doghouse for the trip.  Things have definitely come a long way since I flew business class on AA.  I do miss the overhead bins.  I always liked to board early to stow my things before others had the chance to pack their entire household.  To add to the comments of others, yes; the US does take security measures very seriously.  Flight crew procedures and personnel are not to be videoed.  This is to eliminate any detection of weakness on the part of operations, and it protects flight crews from being personally targeted.  As far as an overall evaluation of AA, “Skytrax” lists it with 3 stars, which is about right.  Truly, thanks again Daniel for your work.  I also liked the toe-tapping music you selected.

Perky colored socks, you go boy! Your videos are so entertaining and I can usually expect humor here and there. How do you ever keep all those plane model numbers in your head? That’s impressive! And to think you have a bed recline mode AND a flat bed mode. Please tell me you give a passing thought for those of us in the cattle car with little or no recline choice in our hard, narrow little seats. (I know you do, just a friendly poke of jealousy). Keep flying so I don’t have to!

Finally a review with no complaints about the beef! Ha. I know it's against the rules to eat beef (and other meat) if you keep a vegetarian diet, but why do all the other reviewers order beef and then complain about it? Simple solution - never order beef on an airplane. It's always gross. Try something else ...like the veggies or the pasta. Because you know that chicken is gonna be dried out and gross, too. Anyway, thanks for the good reviews - especially Lufthansa. I've gotta book myself on First (or Business).
