I Like this Rey and Kylo Theory...What About You?

In the Star Wars sequels, Kylo Ren fought against the light to turn to the dark. Rey fought against the dark to turn to the light. It was their choices that made them who they are, however, they both felt a tug in the opposite direction. Could this be because of their dyad in the force with one another?
If Kylo wasn't connected to Rey, could she be fully in the light side? Or was it all Palpatine's blood in her that pulled her to the dark? Palpatine's 'son' was biologically closer to Palpatine than Rey was, yet the defective clone was distant from the life Palpatine chose.

It makes sense and adds another level to their relationship and how they're opposites yet connected to each other (kylo is from a lightside family but siding with the darkside, rey is from a darkside family but siding with the lightside, kylo wants to destroy what came before but rey wants to embrace it and take the good aspects, etc).

Lol I was half expecting Theory to start reading a Reylo fan fic.

The Dyad should have also been used to explain how Rey was so powerful without training. She could have had visions of Kylo being trained and in turn learnt what he learned from Luke.

I wish the dark deeds of Palpatine was haunting Rey whenever she meditated in the Force rather than him actually returning. And Luke acts as Rey's counselor and mentor to help her conquer those visions.

The only way Rey being a Skywalker makes sense is by a "marriage" of some kind. A spiritual and/or romantic marriage. This theory is pretty solid, I think. Great video!

New theory: what if General Grevious was revived right before the events of TFA?
"Somehow... General Grevious has returned... he's much shorter than expected..."

In my head cannon Rey and Kylo make a new order that embraces the light and dark, an order of the force. I think they should retcon Ben’s death and make it happen.

And also, remembering that the Dyad between both of them always existed

When Ben solo used the Dark Side to kill Ren in the comics, Rey senses a cold in Jakku

Kylo was so captivating, hope they do more with him.

I actually thought either the soul of Ben Solo or Palpatine ended up taking up half of Rey's body.

I think this aligns perfectly with what we got in the sequels. Even in the novelisation of TROS it says that Rey is a massive conflict for Kylo, I also think this answers the whole “Kylo losing to Rey” thing…people don’t want to accept it but it’s so blatantly obvious that the guy was *never* trying to kill or even hurt her, he held back constantly from the moment he met her to the very end whenever he had to fight her…even in the novelisation of TFA in the interrogation room when he’s probing her mind he says something along the lines of *“I don’t want to hurt you, but I will take what I need”* so later in that same movie in the forest I highly doubt he was trying to damage her in any way, he was holding back not because of Snoke’s orders but because he cared about her safety and he didn’t know why…injured or not, unstable or not I think it’s obvious that Kylo Ren could’ve decapitated Rey in that forest or any other place if his heart was set on it but it never was when it came to her and he didn’t understand why until he found out about their Dyad.

I think it’s a cool theory, and it helps me to enjoy the sequels more

That's actually a pretty neat theory, it make so much sense, really.

If the theory is anything other than: 'they were all a figment of Luke's, root stew influenced dreams' I'll have a fight to care :)

You know what kylo and rey theory I like? The one where ahsoka living creates a separate timeline where they don’t exist

Have you heard of the tragedy where Palpatine & Anakin's descendents kissing each other?

*It's not a story the Sith would tell....*

Everybody forgets Kylo Ren beat Rey in TROS. Considering she's OP, that is a huge statement of his power. He was approaching Vader levels.

I like it. Now, Rey's mission (Post Rise) can be to fulfil the essence transfer and bring Ben back to the continuity. They would have some great adventures.

Damn I like this theory, I felt like Adam got a ton of hate for no reason when I thought he was doing An amazing job. He deserves another chance, hell palps got 4 chances to come back in legends so someone of the Skywalker bloodline should get one too. Hell my sister to this day swears Reys body language meant she might be pregnant after that whole essence transfer. Idk though but then again I have people tell me that in episode 4 you could see that Luke and Leia were siblings by their chemistry...now I'm not from Alabama so maybe I missed those signs 🤷

This is an interesting theory that could be true about Rey and Ben being connected to each other.
