OMG guys, I love Finn and Rey so much. I honestly don't get why they are so underrated because, well, look at them!! They are so otp material, lets be real.

I find it adorable how, knowing Rey has abandonment issues, Finn was the first person to come back for her. He was also the first person to show care for her well-being before their own, which was why she was so off-put when he got knocked out, woke up and asked her if she was okay; that same sentiment softened Rey as seen when Finn grabbed her hand the first time and she yelled at him, but then didn't mind it at all later on. Hell, she even grabbed his hand at a point. NOT TO MENTION, there's a point where Rey is wearing Finn's jacket. The little things make their dynamic work for me, not even as a ship, but just their dynamic as a whole. I wouldn't mind if their friendship developed into a romantic ship. And to be fair, I wouldn't mind Finn/Poe either.

Reylo is more of the whole "forbidden fruit" trope of attraction: people crave what they can't have, opposites attract, and the whole "bad boy" thing. All of which is fine, but only in a HEALTHY relationship; it doesn't quite work in this example, considering the "bad boy" in question is a mass murderer. If he hadn't just kidnapped someone (Poe and Rey), mind-raped them, choked out people who were just doing their job (lol), killed off his own father and at least 3 whole planets full of people, I'd be inclined to think that ship was cute.

The two orphan babies finding a home in each other. It sounds sweet to me! Healthy couples like them should be the norm, not underrated. It’s weird how couples like these are labeled “boring” and people go for the dark, sexual, volatile, toxic, stuff. A healthy couple can have sexual chemistry and still be that... healthy. It’s almost as if all of these shippers seem to gravitate towards unhealthy, toxic, self destructive type relationships... how interesting, I’m sure that says nothing about their own deep-rooted issues if that’s what their ideal view of love is. I get the Reylo thing, but the movies have shown us what kind of man Kylo is and Reylos seem to try and romanticize his actions and paint him as something he’s not. He made his choice in TLJ and it was the throne. People should accept that. Maybe he chose wrong, but it’d be weak of Rey to give in and be with an abusive murderer like Kylo. She can redeem him and he can die a hero, but a romance? Cmon guys, love yourselves... let’s stop romanticizing toxic relationships. Volatile does not equal passionate. No you can’t always change him, and you shouldn’t waste your time trying. Instead, find someone who will treat you right, as all people deserve to be treated. Don’t settle for someone who clearly puts their own selfish ideals ahead of you. Finnrey, I’m pulling for you guys, I really am. Here’s to hoping they realize their feelings in Ep 9!

Look guys I love females who don't need a boyfriend as much as anyone, and even I don't understand how anyone could call these two just friends. The way their voices get quiet when they talk to each other, the slow run to hug each other at the end of the second movie...I mean come on! I will admit they probably don't understand their feelings due to him being raised as a solider and her being all alone her whole life, but there's clearly something there. Is Finn a coward? I suppose, but people forget he was raised on the other side, he has no connection to the First Order or any of these people and no reason to question who's right or who's wrong, the only connection he has is his relationship with Rey, and that's the driving factor that pushes him to help the good guys over and over again. That's why him risking his life in the Last Jedi was so impactful, because it showed he'd grown to believe in the good guys to the point where he'd risk his life without her influence. And please explain why we are supposed to bash Finn for cowardliness but ignore all the cowardly evil things Kylo Ren has done? As for Rose, while I want to support an asian/black romance in media, the fact of the matter is she is too young for him, they just treated each other like potential pals the entire movie, there was no chemistry at all, and even Finn's reaction is clearly more one of confusion more then anything else.
