Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker - Musical Connections/Theory.
The Star Wars soundtracks by John Williams are full of musical connections that help tell the story and hint at The relationships shared between characters. But are there any musical hints that can tell us anything about The Rise of Skywalker? Let's explore three different themes, kylo Ren, Rey, and Emperor Palpatine, and we'll see if perhaps John Williams is trying to tell us something about these characters and the relationships that they have with each other. Have you ever noticed that the last 3 notes of kylo ren’s theme are also the 1st 3 notes of Rey’s theme? Like the characters, their themes are intertwined. Their fates are connected. Palpatine and Rey themes are connected, and Kylo's theme comes from the end of the emperor's theme. Did Palpatine create Rey and Kylo Ren? Does this confirm Reylo theories? or the Rey is a Palpatine descendant/clone theory? Is it all just a coincidence? Grab your tin foil hats and lets discuss!
Themes by John Williams. Music arranged and performed by ear by RedCaio.

You being able to decode John William's pure genius months before the reveal is astounding. Bravo.

No matter if you are an original trilogy fan, a prequel trilogy fan or a sequel trilogy fan you must agree that John Williams is a genius

And this is why John William's is a modern Mozart. You can laugh, but consider all he's done in his life. He's given us some of best memories and made us emotionally connected to our modern heroes. When he dies, we will have lost a genius.

Sooo
Rey uses Palpatine’s style of fighting.
She uses the dark side
And now her theme ties into Palpatine’s...?

Ben + Rey = Bye bye Palpster.

Anakin falls for love. Ben rises for love. Anakin falls trying to save his beloved. Ben rises that his beloved might be saved perhaps. Love is a powerful motivator. It could be Palpatine has cursed or influenced the Skywalker bloodline since its beginnings with Shmi. It's also possible he sees Vader (Anakin) as a traitor and has been going after Ben "with a vengeance", since he is the descendant of the man that threw him down that reactor shaft. Surely Palpatine would know that going after Rey would affect Ben.

I clicked this video expecting to watch just another theory to laugh at because of how wrong it is, but this man literally just correctly predicted the entire plot line of episode 9 from three pieces of music. Kudos to you sir.

I don’t know if this is true but those three notes that Rey and Kylo share, of you reverse them, they sound similar to the first 3 notes of Across the stars, which is the love theme between Anakin and Padme.

John Williams is as integral to Star Wars as George Lucas

I love finding all the little connections between the themes and how it all fits together. There will never be another like John Williams and his epic 9-part space opera anthology.

Love how everyone uses the EA battlefront 1 game art for their pictures of Palpatine

Side note on the genius of John Williams- I love how Rey's theme sounds like drip drops of a spring rain kinda like in Bambi. Refreshing cleansing, new. Rey.
