21. how to use LENGTH function in SQL

The LENGTH Function in SQL is used to find out the number of characters of a given string. This way, you can easily find out the number of characters that forms the string of particular column values of your database table records. In some of the database systems, the LENGTH function is used as the LEN function.
Syntax
LENGTH( ‘string’)
