One pot Aknee using ALLSOME rice

Aknee is one of the easiest yet most wholesome rice dishes to prepare even if you’re racing against the clock. The best news is it just got even easier with parboiled Allsome Rice. I always love making this one pot Aknee and I hope you’ll give this recipe a try.
Allsome 1 pot Aknee
Ingredients:
Vaagar:
2 tbsp Sunfoil oil
1 Onion finely chopped
1 tsp crushed Garlic
2 Cinnamon quills
4 cardomom pods
3 Cloves
Handful of Curry leaves
Cumin
2 tsp red Ginger garlic masala
2 tsps Coriander and Cumin Powder
½ tsp Turmeric
2 green chillies split in the center
Salt to taste
1 chicken cut into pieces
4 tomatoes chopped
½ cup Tomato puree
Juice of 2 lemons
2 cups Allsome rice uncooked – rinsed
Water
2 Bay leafs
Method:
Add Sunfoil oil to your pot. Prepare your Vagaar by frying onion, garlic, cinnamon quill, cardamom, cloves, curry leaves, cumin, ginger garlic masala, coriander cumin powder, turmeric powder, crushed dry red chilies, green chilli . Mix well then add chicken, tomatoes, tomato puree, lemon juice. Allow chicken to cook until tender. Add Prefried potatoes. Add 2 cups rinsed Allsome rice to the pot and enough water to cover rice. Allow to cook

Prepare your Vagaar by frying onion, garlic, cinnamon quill, cardamom, cloves, curry leaves, cumin, ginger garlic masala, coriander cumin powder, turmeric powder, crushed dry red chilies, green chilli . Mix well then add chicken, tomatoes, tomato puree, lemon juice. Allow chicken to cook until tender. Add Prefried potatoes. Add 2 cups rinsed Allsome rice to the pot and enough water to cover rice.
