Honestly, i don't blame OP in story 2 for punching her sister especially after that comment.v She was playing the victim saying" it just happened." Story 2- I find it outlandishly cruel for OP’s sister and mother to demand and beg for family loyalty after showing they have no love. Trying to downplay such cruelty as a mistake is also insulting. Story 1: so not only was the “dad” lying about his paycheck and not providing for his family but he was steal money from OP just to go to the casino. I don’t why the mom is making it OP’s responsibility to give the sperm donor a place to stay because he screwed over his family. If I was OP I would privately talk to the roommate about the entire situation and let them know that it may be my dad but I don’t want a gambling addict staying with me especially since he refuses to acknowledge what he did wrong.
