Cutting an inch on the driver makes such a big difference. My brother did this and it helped me learn how to control the driver. With these new shaft adapters, I highly recommend having an extra shaft. It is a lot cheaper to experiment and work things out.

Good series of videos! I’m just wondering about the distances and by extension, the gapping, many of the respondents claim they have, given the level of handicap of mid to high. Distances of 160 to 170 yards for a 7 iron is quite rare, furthermore, the gapping at the lower end at least in my own experience almost disappeared between the 4, 5 and 6 irons. Anyway, keep up the good work.

I have a TM 2016 M2 and M6 both have been cut 1” and re swingweight back to spec. TM driver shafts are way to long for me, I do find that adding the weight back helped with feeling the head during the swing.

Love this series and would love some advice:
I'm a 23 year old field hockey player who has gotten back into golf over the last 6 months and am looking to get a new set of irons. I'm currently using my Dad's old set of Powerbilt Grand slam: 3W, 5W, 4Hb, 3-SW I upgraded my driver and putter not long ago (TaylorMade aeroburner and Rife putter). I have been looking for game improvement irons online, and haven't been able to go try anything at the local golf store due to them all being shut.
Any advice on what clubs I should be looking into? there hasnt been too much to find on youtube or online.
Originally I was thinking TaylorMade rocketbladez or Callaway XR OS, and lately been thinking that maybe getting a set of clubs that might last me a bit longer would be better thinking Callaway Mavrik. What are your thoughts on decent beginner clubs that would grow with me as my game improves, I'll also be getting some lessons when COVID stops being so difficult.


I've been looking through Facebook market place and everything i find is not in good enough condition or is too expensive and I may as well get my own new set of clubs.
