Today we hop back into this DBZ game do see if everyone was wrong about it. I actually really enjoyed going back to this Dragon Ball Z game and might have to beat the entire game now.

I felt like Battle of Z was a prototype to what would become Xenoverse. Even if they don't have the same development studio and/or team, it has a lot early concepts that Xenoverse uses so well. From how you could defeat the initial set of enemies and then "WARNING... ENEMY APPROACHING". Plus how the characters "freely" maneuver around their environments. I think Battle of Z is a hidden gem, but I think the game being a hidden gem is all the more worth it.

Battle of Z multiplayer was probably the best multiplayer game for dbz games for having fun. just being able to jump enemies was sick af and then having the sage mode goku custom was also sick af.

It was my first video game that i ever played and have spent countless amounts of hours playing this game and loving it so i am glad that you are playing it because it is giving me so many memories.

Battle of Z had a good idea that was executed terribly imo, it tried to do interesting things but the imbalance of only some characters being able to do some basic actions REALLY hurt it overall, that and the dependency on card based stat and skill boosts.

Getting this on 360 at launch and immediately seeing the game hacked to hell within actual hours was truly telling

Still one of my fav DBZ games that i spent hours and hours farming and doing pvp because it was just to fun. Funny because one button attack game has combos. Block before you do the last hit then u can redo the combo. I still remember making a inf with piccolo but u have to be using with wall at the end of the map. His attacks give momentum.

Randomly thought of this game and searched all the dbz guys for a vid. This brought back memories. Never really got a chance to play this outside the demo but always wondered what happened to it

I love the "Give me Energy" idea, it was so much fun when people played it and you could see how much energy was being collected in total, on the main menu.
