Thanks for explaining the different tap points for the Buses. I like how configurable the X/M 32 consoles are, but the output routing and configuration possibilities are confusing. My take away from your video is that I should use an Input tap point of Post Eq on the Bus for mixes that are being used for monitors (stage or IEM) because, in my experience, singers generally don't like to have compression on their vocals in the monitors. I would use a Post Fdr setting in the Output Routing section in order to have the bus eq, bus master fader and mute be active for a given monitor mix. This is for a system where FOH and monitors are being mixed from the same console.

Really nice tutorials! However, I would like to point out that patching signals on the ROUTING/PATCH/OUT tab doesn't necessarily mean the signal will go out on the back XLR physical outputs...Since the OUTPUTS showed at the very left of that tab indicates only virtual signal holding places, not physical outputting connecters. Still need to check on the BLOCK/XLR tab and select OUTPUT1-4, OUTPUT5-8 to make sure the signals go out of the physical XLRs on the back of the console.

Hey boss. This stubborn sound engineer we hired to tune our sound set up matrix for our church livestream. However, he is not willing to show me how to turn up the bass in the livestream smh when I mess with the gain or the compressor gain, it affects both in house and the live. How do I increase only the bass in the live without affecting the in house…we use x32 by the way..:plz help 😩

A lot of other sub group videos are using the sub groups as a linked stereo pair. I understand it selects subs in pairs. Is it ok to use a mono sub group? Pros cons?
