After watching this vid I found 4 pieces in the bunker and got BOS knight paint and CPT paint so I’m definitely doing that again

That is almost right. I believe the game keeps memory of the last 80 world objects picked up and the last 50 chests opened. So if they aren't respawning, just go somewhere else and just open everything.

It usually only activates in Atlas Fortress. And one by one. It doesn't matter if you take it from the wooden chest.

I just followed this method and found 4 pieces of technical data at the bunker, in the desks in the military wing. No rare plans, but I’ll keep farming!

Try the silos I've had up to 1 to 7 after you need put them in your stash box and take them out 1 at a time

Best farm is in nuke silos in main control room. In 80% cases i find one or two data per nuke 👍

If anyone can help me with a small question. The technical data, I will only activate the mission after I start the missions with the Brotherhood of Steel and discover the Ventura camp. So far everything is ok, no problems. But what can I do with the technical data I found before starting the missions with the Brotherhood of Steel? I ask this, because I have approximately 104 technical data in my inventory. Is there a way to deliver them or not, the ones I found before are just trash? I appreciate the attention and I owe a very cold nuka glue to anyone who can help me with this question.

* don't put them in one by one @Fort Atlas (free travel) pick up all you want to, store the rest in your stash box tent if f76 member, put by Fort Atlas, except 1, trade for; for 25 caps and about 11 1400 XP, not back n forth, less timely, but I don't server hop either.

I’ve been farming these bad boys for the past few days and I’ve managed to get the paints from knight to officer so far they definitely drop more often now

Im guessing this has diminishing returns? After about an hour of doing this, the desks are now almost always empty, I didn’t pick up anything but one technical data at a time. I finally got one plan though, ty, the one I really want though is the elder paint.

Why am I only getting ammo from this quest even though i don’t know that armor paints

You can cash all of them one at a time if you have a ton on you so literally farm a ton then go to the cache spot. You need to put all of technical data into a draw below the cache spot besides 1 which is the one you will put into the cache.WAIT until the quest leaves on the right side of the screen then pick up the whole batch from the draw, the quest should then start up straight away. Once it does repeat the same steps and you can do them all together one after the other :)

Buying from players does work, I just saw a camp right next to Venture, at first I was all “scammer” but then I saw how low he was selling for AND he had a sign that said “buy 1 turn it in, then come back” and it works. Buy 1 turn it in, buy another etc... Im betting itd work for alts if you dropped one, then log on and pick it up with an alt, BUT I cant check because I NPCed the 500 I had after watching this lol.

Another good location is robco research centre as I have found many filing cabinets and desks there

I keep finding Technical Data, but the quest doesn't start...what am I doing wrong???
