I actually found a good way to push back on the "late stage capitalism" meme is to point out that Marx considered the 1870s to be "late stage" capitalism.

Hey thank you for the response on my question! It was cool to see. Overall, I think when talking to people who don't have a very good idea of the religious landscape our world lies in your ideas and methodology are right. Most people are either uneducated on the matter, or biased, see Atheists and Christians that don't really understand why they believe want they belive, just why they like it. I do think if you're talking with people and to people who have come to a very sound conclusion about religion as I have myself, the only thing that really matters to debate with them is just which religion is true and why. Once you agree you go from there.
