You selected the CPU which will give you more FPS as possible, nothing wrong with that, it makes perfect sense :)
Really love that case <3
Have a great weekend guys :)

I’d like to see a benchmark of the latest X-Plane, barely ever see flight simulator reviews but apparently this game absolutely shreds poorly performing PCs. There’s some new features for wider GPU support on the Beta I believe, such as better Vulkan support.

I know this game Im going to mention, is a few years old, but even today, I have heard a lot of people saying that 'Planet Coaster' is crazy bad when it comes to running a large size park. So personally, Id like to see a test done on that game :)

What about Pcie 4.0? That's supported on upcoming cards from both camps. You won't be able to use that feature with this motherboard until Rocket Lake launches presumably. Probably won't make much difference... But people seem to expect that next gen will be when we start to see some small benefit from that added bandwidth.

Does this 2700$ build that I plan to buy/build has some issue that I should be aware of?
Should I use some(?) cheaper part's for it? My budget is 3000$.
I planned to use it for gaming/casual 3D modeling (gta 5, battlefield 4, deadside, maya, autocad...) in next 5+ year's without any upgrades and any overclocking on a 1080p high settings.

congratulations on the work. a question - wouldn't the radiator positioned ahead with push'in'pull perform better?

When you bought it were the fans installed

So you're completely unable to test PCI Express v4? Both NVME / M.2 drives and GPUs. You do know that the RX 5700 is PCIe v4, don't you? As will future AMD GPUs. And Nvidia's next GPUs are expected to be PCIe v4 too. AMD have already demonstrated the benefits in texture streaming. Intel may have the fastest GPUs but they don't have the bandwidth. I understand that LGA 1200 motherboards will support v4 with the next generation of Intel CPUs, due at the end of this year.

This should last you a few months until Zen 3

That is some slow DDR4 for a test system mate. Why didn't you go for Patriot Viper Steel 4400mhz cl19 like I did? You already need an upgrade!!! 😉

With all the new graphics cards going to be pci Gen 4 from amd and nvidia. this is a backward step.
