An Elantra with 165k is not even broken in yet. No offense but that Elantra will still be on the road long after your Mercedes is dead in the scrap yard. Awesome car. Hope you enjoy it.

Kudos to the previous owner for taking care of it. With that mileage, it's all about how you treat it

Good buy. Bought a brand new elantra in 2016. Have 193k miles and am only in it a fuel pump, driver side window control unit and two trunk latches beyond regular maintenance. They are great cars. Update: now at 217k miles. No more repairs. Hearing some bushing creak. May finally have to replace the tie rods soon.

I've seen several Elantras with 300k miles on them. No doubt this one can last that long too. It was obviously well cared for and not abused.

Hyundai & Kia are great cars today. My 2011 Hyundai sonata base model has more options than a base Mercedes, BMW, Acura & Infiniti of the same year. Style, comfort, gas mileage, power, tech package & great long warranty all for a cheaper price than the so called "luxury" brands; Bluetooth, Xm radio, mp3, steering wheel radio & phone controls, tire pressure monitor, power mirrors, telescopic steering, leather seats...the list goes on in the base model Sonata gsl.
Camry, Accord and Altima are way overpriced for the same options.

I always thought that Huyndai have the best economy cars

You can tell a guy is a car nut when he's geeked for an Elantra with 160k

This is the cleanest car I've seen with 165, 000 miles.

Hey man, the great thing is that you CAN'T LOOSE MONEY on this car, even if you use it for years, you can still sell it for the same price you bought it.

Watching this video made me smile. When we went to buy our Elantra around 10 yrs ago they had this exact colour on display in the showroom.. My wife immediately fell in love with I thought it was a bit girly so I bought a silver one instead. She's never forgiven me ever since lol. I think it's a beautiful unique colour and really regret not buying it for her. So I hope your wife is enjoying hers
Our Elantra is over 10yrs old now and has done over 100K and still drives like a dream. Great, reliable car

$5500 bucks? That looks like a 13 grand car. You got a good deal.

I've had two Hyundais and I'm convinced they make a great car at a very reasonable price.
I've never owned a German luxury car but have many friends that have. They were very expensive to repair once the warranty expired. I'm talking thousands of dollars a yr. Some have switched to Japanese Luxury cars and I'm not hearing nearly the complaints.
Me, I'd rather sock the money I save and retire at 55.

Soon as you pointed out the USB charging cord that was included I knew you made a really good purchase.

I have an 08 Elantra with a quarter million miles on it. It runs terrific and takes me anywhere around the country I wish to go. I bought it 4 years ago for fourteen hundred bucks with 180 thousand miles on it. It seems to run better now then when I bought it! I only do basic fluid changes When needed and 1 tune up done last year.

I am curious to know how this car looked when the original owner brought it in to the dealer. The car does look remarkably well for one that has 166, 000 miles on it.

Good choice for your wife. My girlfriend drives a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT (hatchback). It's been trouble-free so far.

I just bought a GLS Coupe 49k miles in EXCELLENT condition for $5300 same color with tinted windows. Was a salvage title trunk damage but has been mostly repaired. Runs GREAT! 💯👍🙌

currently fixing my 2013 elantra, i just got in a crash and they were telling us to total it since repairs were over $5k! me and my dad instead brought it to his home garage and are almost done fixing it completely for under $1500-1600. great experience and the car’s reliable daily drivability is completely worth having
