A couple tricks I've learned when working with pizza. If you heat up your baking sheet as you preheat you oven, holes or not, you will get a nice crispy crust. Bonus if you wipe a little oil on there (after heating it) it becomes as nonstick as nonstick can be. Cornmeal is unneccesary but personally I like the taste and texture.

I made this on homemade focaccia bread a week or so ago using your sauce recipe. It was awesome! Thanks! I also have 20 4oz jars in the pantry for the winter's use. :)

Try pre-cooking the pizza crust for about 3 to 5 minutes on 350 degrees then pulling it out and letting it cool and then start building your pizza with the sauce and cheese, etc.
Thanks for the info and the video, you got my darn mouth-watering and I now am so hungry I can't continue this reply.
God bless

My husband and I are diabetic so we usually make a low carb crust out of cauliflower and Parmesan. But when we DO make regular crust, we find that we prefer the texture of bread crumbs to cornmeal for preventing sticking. Italian seasoned crumbs also add an extra punch of flavor.

My favorite pizza dough is Jiffy pizza crust mix which Wal-Mart sells for $0.68. I add a drizzle of olive oil and knead it with Hudson Cream self rising flour.

the P.A.N. brand usually uses GMO corn in their nixtamalized corn flours if this is of concern for you...

When I make pizza, I make my pizza crust from scratch. Those crusts made in the bakery departments of various stores often put ingredients that the crust just doesn't need. My pizza pan doesn't have holes in it; but, I still get a crispy crust by putting my pan in the oven and let it heat up while the oven is in pre-heat mode. Those pre-made crusts are for people looking for shortcuts.

My sons always loved having leftover pizza for breakfast. If it tasted good during last night's dinner, it was just as good served cold for breakfast.

No disrespect Luke - I kinda smirk when I hear that introductory music! It's goofy lol. Pretty sure you don't use it anymore <grin>. Your channel is my top favorite of the YouTube gardening channels. I've gardened over 50 years, am a Master Gardener AND YET - I have learned so many new things/concepts from you and questions have been answered! Grow Big or Go Home !

Hey bud. Try a nice shrimp scampi pizza. Olive oil and garlic is your sauce. Add large uncooked shelled shrimp, capers, mozzarella and parmigiana, salt and pepper. It’s delicious. Cook at 500 degrees on a stone for about 12-15 min depending on your altitude.

I live dangerously. I eat refrigerated day after pizza.

The trick to awesome pizza dough is to sweeten the dough with honey or maple syrup (not sugar)*, mix/knead the dough until stretches, and let it rise 3X.

*If you’re only sweetener is sugar, boil it in the amount of water you’re using in the recipe.

I was out of the loop for a while and you guys were going plant-based or at least looking at it. so for those who want plant-based there are tons of pizza Cheese's made from cashews and things like that and you can make it yourself really easy and for pizza you can even make it that morning because you can put it in one of those squirty bottles like ketchup at a picnic and it bakes up super well on anything in the oven from lasagna two pizzas but there are really good mozzarellas that you can make from scratch. Unfortunately the best cheeses that are vegan / plant-based cost more way more. So I like to make my myself but just so you know that there are alternatives in the best pizza I've ever had in my life were from veggies in my garden and not an ounce of cheese on them. a couple of the vegetables I just barely cooked first because of the fast cooking time like we're talking about here. it's a great meal when you have a whole bunch of veggies and you want something different. thanks for the video!
