Whew! Glad to hear it was just the training program. I’m 73 and do resistance training 4-5 days a week and walk most every day and am more fit than ever. Glad it won’t necessarily come to a screeching halt at 80!

I will suggest that if you are 80 year old person in today's world with all the chaos and stress of daily living, you are extremely strong and very blessed❤

Eat right, exercise, and see your doctor on a regular basis. Do the best you can to be healthy and control what you can control. Keep moving! We are all creatures of habit so get into a routine of walking 3 to 4 days a week and keep doing it.

if the 70 y/o and the 80 y/o responded differently to the same training routine, it makes no sense to blame the difference on the routine. thats an extremely basic error to make.
