NASM OPT Model Phase 1: Stabilization || NASM-CPT Exam Study Prep

Phase 1 of the NASM Optimum Performance Training model focuses on optimizing neuromuscular efficiency, which in laymen's terms means improving the communication and coordination of the neurological and muscular systems. This means drastically slowing down training tempos to allow for neurological and external feedback from coaches with a strong emphasis on form and technique.

This stage is often misunderstood as focusing only on balance training and core, but the right approach towards stabilization training with the full spectrum of compound movements can set clients and athletes up for amazing (injury free) results down the road.

The Axiom Fitness Academy helps new and aspiring personal trainers achieve long-lasting and lucrative careers through hands-on training and expert guidance. We’ve partnered with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to provide the best online and hands-on personal training certification exam prep course that will give you the edge you need to succeed as a certified personal trainer in as little as 10 weeks.

Backed by our test-pass guarantee, our students have higher exam passing rates, get better jobs, and learn how to avoid costly mistakes.

I love your videos. I am a visual learner and the way you help me understand it better by seeing how this all comes together instead of reading it on paper has helped me learn and understand.
I passed my NASM PT exam 3 months ago and your videos helped me.
Also, to keep everything fresh on my mind I keep watching and will apply it all in the gym myself.
Thank you for these videos.
Soon I'll be hired by a gym after a long search and these videos help me keep everything fresh on my mind

Just started reading my book and I’m so grateful to have found your videos! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and how we can apply it on the “field” .. such a huge learning curve for me!
I tore my acl skiing last year and my only option for exercise was at the gym or home while recovering.. long story short I decided to become a trainer to help others avoid or recover properly from sports injuries.
You’re awesome!
Thank you thank you 🙏
