I really know that. After my wound partially opened following a surgery, I was taken to the OR to be restitched. However, I had eaten so no general anesthetic for me, I was given Valium and although I felt shimmy, I recall flirting with every male in the theater. This was a gyn. surgery, so I must have looked really appealing with my feet in stirrups and bleeding, lol. I even apologized to the female nurse for not flirting with her. Oh my, it was embarrassing when the Valium effect eased and I remembered it all 😮

Years ago i told the doctor, "I'm scared." He said, "Me, too!"
Instantly relaxed. I suddenly realized i had a skilled surgeon, didn't need to worry.

Yes! I have had 9 surgeries over 2023 and last one 3/6/24, but coming out of anesthesia after 1, I asked the doctor (repeatedly) if he was married and then assured him I don’t always look like this, lol! The nurses were cracking up! It added some levity after a very complex surgery.

My Marine Recon ex had an interesting conversation with a Navy nurse when he was coming out of anesthesia after a surgery, before I met him. She said something to an orderly like, "I want him over there."

He replied (with eyes still closed) "You can't have me, Ma'am. I'm saving myself for marriage." ❤😂🎉

I just bought my first scrubs. I have my first hospital rotations on the 19th. I’m so excited. I’ve been in pharmacy school for so long. I just want to start practicing!

I remember waking up and apologising for not shaving my legs 🤣 I had compression socks on and was peeling them down to show everyone my leg hair 😂😂

I cherish my anesthesiologists, theyre even more important to me than my surgeons. I could imagine telling them that I love them. I just had surgery in Feb. I should ask Dr.Robbins if I told him I loved him😅

You can really become impressed with your doctor and your anesthesiologist I mean especially when you're waking up you are so grateful and you express it I know I do and I say oh you're the best doctor lol
