P L E A S E make a video on the sims economy, I have always thought the economy that birthed $50 toilet paper needs to be studied on an academic level

I got so confused by this video. For 10 straight minutes I've been watching and was like "did they actually make 290 books irl??" And was frantically searching for them on Google. Just now I realised that's just the covers and Plumbella talks about their in-game descriptions and comes up with commentary on the plot. Wow 😅
Great video though. I'll be watching it for the next 3 hours now, thanks

Please don't quit making long form content. Thanks to your iceberg video, I was able to get my partner to learn a lot of sims lore and now this?!?! Tonight we are going to watch this together and I am so exited.

I had a sim make a booktube channel. She had a cozy attic room full of plants with a fancy cc fireplace where she would read the books, with the other half of the attic being a conspiracy room where she would break down the plot. It was so much effort for videos that don’t actually exist, but I got to read the descriptions, and got a kick out of them. Glad I’m not the only one who paid attention to them.

As an autistic person, I pretty much solely watch long form content. There is simply not enough nuance in anything less than 90 minutes. Please dont stop your long form content, we love it! Anyone who doesnt love it has suddenly disappeared....I don't know where they went

the covers? the bookshelf?? the interview??? this is really filling a long-form, more researched video niche that sims yt didn't have before. obsessed w these.

1:02:48 I just want to point out that if a non werewolf sim reads the beyond big and bad book, they actually gain a trait that makes them less scared of werewolves so they dont become tense around them.

Derek McMillan is a townie from Henford-on-Bagley that lives with his husband Ian Moody in a cozy little cottage and the fact that you think he's a murderer is hilarious

I find it extrememly impressive that all the books you're using are the exact same height. It scratches my brain itch

Wolfgang Wilder (the townie from Werewolves) actually uses the penname Vulfgang Mulder. so he is one of (the only?) canon authors in the sims 4 to be living!

I love how the Sims fishing book author (Ernest Melville) is a play on the writers Ernest Hemingway and Herman Melville who both wrote novels centered around fish/fishing (and I'm not sure about Melville, but Hemingway was outdoorsy and liked to fish irl). So many fun references in these books!

They missed an opportunity to have the author of the handiness books start out as Sparky “Three Fingers” and then in the second volume, be Sparky “Two Fingers” and in the third volume, be Sparky “One Finger”.

1:07:52 is a reference to the American sitcom Arrested Development. One of the character named Tobias is an author. He has a company with another character named Gob called Gobias Industries ("as in Gobias a coffee" hence Gobias Koffi lmao). One of the more memorable jokes in the series is he's dressed like Mrs. Doubtfire and says "bangers in the mouth"

I love how many of the book are irl cultural references.

32:47 is referencing Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez. He’s one of my favorite authors. Essentially the same plot haha. It’s a love triangle between Florentino and Fermina. Fermina marries another man in the height of a cholera epidemic, and Florentino essentially waits around for her. The whole book compares his decades of being lovesick to cholera. Anyways, loved this video!! This feels like something I would totally do. 💕

since you asked, Desperate Housewives is like somehow even more unhinged than PLL. it’s so much at once, highly recommend. however, TW for “humorous” homophobia, transphobic jokes (cause 00s), problematic age gap relationships, and just general human terribleness. 💀
