The double diminished resolution was, in fact, mysterious

Backdoor dominants have been making their way into my writing.

I love them all. The 3rd and 4th sound like leading into a bridge of key change etc.

All sound great, but mysterious is my favourite❤

They all work. Of course, playing in a band context, it seems you must be in agreement with the rest of the group going into it, whichever you choose, and the selection might depend on where else you are taking the number, unless it is the absolute end of the piece. I liked the backdoor dominant resolution the best, and perhaps "of course" the 5/1 resolution struck me as somewhat boring because it is just so common. I wish I knew how to get your guitar tone. It made the entire exercise so beautiful to listen to. Thank you. I saved this mini lesson to work on when I have time to really focus on it.

The 3rd one, Jens, but all are superb.

Man! This is tough. It depends of the context and where it goes. The four are beautiful imo.

I like the Abmaj7(9, 13). It resolves but seems to just hang in the air.

All are beautiful last on my favourite

They are all great, but without a defined melody, it seems that they all need to resolve to the tonic. IOW, they would need more context in an actual tune.

I'd like to hear this with C remaining the resolution and changing the ii and V accordingly!

In our laboratories for research of emotional responses to chord progressions we have established that the flat 6 suspension is slightly preferred for west Europeans born before 1976

The Double Diminished. It's like a delayed resolution. It so wants to go to Cmaj7.

Oh, that's tough! The last two make the hairs on my arm stand up....esp the last.
