Are you looking for a new job?

Where are you looking? How?

You've done the basics

✔️Resume
✔️LinkedIn Profile
✔️Google Myself (and remove all college chambong photos)
✔️Peer & Recruiter Friend Review

Okay, now what?

LinkedIn has this new nifty “Easy Apply” button, I can apply to 100 jobs in under an hour - COOL!

‼️NOT‼️

Easy Apply = the Tinder of job searching. You might find one that sticks, but chances are, you’ll do a LOT of swiping and pointless dating.

What DO I DO then?

1. Use LinkedIn Jobs to identify companies that are hiring, find people at those companies that do your job - make friends with them, find out how they like their jobs, and let them submit your resume as a referral

2. NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK! Meet as many people as you can and take those relationships BEYOND the computer screen. Phone calls, video chats, coffee, donuts, or beers!

3. Create CONTENT! It doesn’t have to be “I’m looking for a new job” but create whitepapers, observations of your experience, advice, or stories and experiences. Show your skillz beyond a resume and wishing and praying they see your file in the black hole bucket!

I hope this helps! Tell me what you want to know more about and HOW I can help!!!
