I work from home to get away from all the women in the office.

I'm more productive working from home. And yes, certain jobs lend themselves to it while others do not. No one forces you to choose a certain profession. I like Elon for the most part, but he's wrong about this.

I'm a Chef. I've worked nearly every event, have only ever called out 3 days in nearly 40yrs..
Not complaining, it's the profession. Would do it all again.

Yeah so you have to risk your life to commute to Twitter office in San Francisco, which is like a war zone now? Why if you can work remote in many jobs

The world has never changed, only the brainwashed minds have!

If its the private sector then whatever, but civil servants should be in offices.

Elon told all his employees to come back to the offices. You don't think that he would now say that working at home is great?

It's not a moral issue. Working from home is a blessing to many women who need to be at home with the kids while doing something to bring in some money. So much time is wasted in commuting - if it is possible to do the job at home - why not? He is making something a moral issue, which is not a right/wrong issue.

"Morality" and Elon do not go hand in hand. How many kids does he have with how many different women? I think he needs to keep his mouth closed about what is moral and what isn't.

This is so dumb. That's no different from older generations saying "Others sufferred. So now you have to suffer or else it would be unfair". Advancements & improvements is what defines us as humans. If you take that away, you take humanity's future away.

Load of tripe really.
We don't all get paid the same, we don't all have the same conditions and we don't all do the same jobs so why should we be the same in this regard?
If the work is getting done then surely the reduction on use of things like cars, public transport and the like will be of benefit in our rat race cities?
I think it's way more morally wrong that a CEO can earn so many multiples of the average worker and still justify it tbh.

Why will your company pay you to sit in your living room, when they could pay someone from India half to sit in theirs.
That is the end game and advocates of home working are too self serving to see it.

He's not wrong though and us physical produces seem to get less pay too, its backwards bs!

I occasionally worked from home, and I am not going to lie. I was not as productive. Too easy to get distracted and take longer breaks without the boss eying me. And comparing notes with my coworkers they said the same thing.

It makes no sense to have to sit in traffic and waste resources traveling to an office when you can do it in the safety of your home. He’s nuts!
