Trip to Duluth MN / Superior WI area. Fast changing weather and the fog off of Lake Superior make this a unique part of the country.

Drove thru Duluth on my way to Grand Maries Mn. Stayed over at Cove Point in Beaver Bay. Moved to the Gunflint Lake area for work. So far I love it. 😊

Where Manitou River crosses under Hwy 61 on the North Shore if you can find a place to park. From 61 to the lake is waterfalls that is private property on both sides. Well worth filming via drone. Onion River from Ray Berglund wayside rest going upriver too!

My Aunt and Uncle had a Resort in Tofte Minnesota named SurfSide for 40 years right on Hwy 61.Spent every summer up there for many years.Some of the best times of my life.Driving up from Mpls it was always breath taking when you come into Duluth and you first see Lake Superior and feel the temperature drop 10 degrees from the Lake effect.

When I was young, we would always vacation up there. Highway 61 went right around the sheer cliff. The lake was so clear and blue then. It was a crazy ride!

Too disjointed combinations of video clips. Not enough identification of views. I’ve probably got over 30 trips up Hwy 61 beyond Duluth. I had trouble following the plot or focal points here.
