Born and raised in NJ, I’ve admired and seen many of these tags myself. Rumor from where I grew up right next to Rutgers is that PK is short for “Parkway Killer” as many of the tags are along the garden state parkway. Cool to see more research and speculation from this channel, but I think this will be a forever mystery. Thanks for the video!

I just love the way you tell graffiti stories you tell them like no other id say the way you speak and just tell and make them so easy to understand to reg graff, writers new writers, and non graff writers, much love YOUFO much love

as someone from the philly area, its cool to see you make a video on this. crazy how famous these writers (or this writer?) is around here, ive heard even non graff heads talk about how amazing their selection of spots is.

PK and Kid are definitely two different people. PK is most likely just the writer’s initials. They’ve both been doing this a long, long time.

Since graffiti is the ultimate ‘outsider art’ - these artists are at the top of their game. Nothing says “outsider” like having no identity.

Oh damn I legit am editing a video with the same image and I had a similar thumbnail in mind haha great minds think alike. PK gets up where I used to live. Used to see this all the time, pics don't do the scale justice. It's really amazing that he got up there, did that, and got back down lol he's awesome 👌

New Jersey legend(s?) I'll never forget seeing the twin tags on the side of a mountain along Route 280 West in West Orange. To get to that spot you would need to enter into a gated community and repel down a cliff. It was covered up in less than a week.

I live in the area and FREQUENTLY see his tags and throwies. So, for someone- I believe in, Australia, to recognize it and appreciate it, adds significance to this local legend.

PK KID is in my opinion one of the greatest legends in the graff scene. I’ve taken my own pictures of those tags for years now. I don’t think PK KID has been active for awhile now. There is an instagram for someone who documents for them. They are the closest person to PK KID.

I think Y'all are missing the mark here KID is prob one person and PK is another. Probably friends in some graffiti crew who roll together you can tell their styles are a bit different.

the thig i like aboujt their heaven spots is that its not really always insane to look at but more random and insane, just funny that such an odd place has been painted

I used to live in downtown Jersey City on Coles St. and in the Heights. You showed where i used to live like 20 times! I never noticed Kid PK s graff, at least not as much as the MSK's writing over there like Sever. Even Kaws has old stuff over there. I'm thinking he's a local guy, as in Jersey City maybe Puerto Rican, Dominican, or Cuban. Anyways, thanks for the trip down memory lane. The hip hop culture was one of the best parts living in the city. Keep up the solid work YOUFO!

once in a while we get complete titans at spot selection and heaven spots in nj. it's awesome that pk and kid were so ahead of the curve. sape4, adopt6, and ksbe are some other beasts who defied death to put their names up in this wasteland of a state. nj graff is heavily underrated.

Thanks for showing footage of the tower coming down at a minute in. I've never seen that footage before. Where did that footage come from? I actually was a passenger in a car probably when that piece first went up. I got a good look at it and it looked fresh, the rust not showing yet, etc. Was on my way to the nearby amusement park.
