Thanks for the test! No one else was doing this, so I’m really glad you did. How does it feel to be the only person on the internet publishing these comparisons?

Playing ghosts of tsushima with the 5600x I had a weird line through the screen (only this game) also stutters. I decided to buy the 5700x3d and my god it's made the game silky smooth. It even trades blows with a 7700 on am5 so I guess I'll wait for am6.

I got this to pair with my 3090 at 1440p. It's a beast for 180Eur. I will be upgrading for AM5 in 2years when 6000 series are out, then i'll get a 5080 or 5090 when prices are down and cable melting problems are also gone.

Thinking of upgrading to AM5 for the PCIe 4 and 5 SSD speeds tho cause I still use PCIe 3 for my Gen 4 ssd 😂

All the tests I see are at 1080 and yours even at 720, it's normal that the CPU isn't enough with a 4090. Nobody would play like that except in competitive games. It seems more realistic to me to also test other resolutions to see if it's worth jumping to AM4 or not for 1440 or 4k.

I’m a little stumped not sure what to do, should I build (used parts mostly) the 5600x am4, 7500f am5, or 5700x3d am4. I’m wanting to pair with a rx6800 which I’ve found for $300-$320 roughly . I’m currently on an i5-10600k with a 3060. Not entirely sure what to do, I would’ve liked to have an upgrade path on my current build but it seems I fucked up in 2021 building for the future. Unless you know of a LGA1200 socket cpu that would match the price to performance of the 5700x3d or even 7500f. LGA1200 in that price range with the Performance I’ll take in a heart beat just not sure if it exist. If it does I’d just upgrade well obviously cpu, already have gpu lined up, than eventually upgrade to 64gb of ram or something, for days I’ve been trying to figure out what to do and every YouTuber hasn’t been able to id appreciate your help.

4090 is used in 1080P, is there any problem with IQ?

I have a
5600x processor,
32 GB ddr4 3000 mhz ram,
msi b550-a pro ddr4 motherboard,
asus 850w 80+ gold pci 3.0 power supply,
rtx 4070 super eagle graphics card.

If I replace my processor with this model, will I get rid of the bottleneck and experience an increase in FPS? or is there no need?

I would be very happy if you answer

When you use 4K quality, CPU upgrade will be meaningless,Poor 4090

I’m really considering getting the 5700x3d for cyberpunk, I play it a lot. I have a 4070ti and a 5600x and I play at 1440p. Can I expect to see a similar performance increase if I got it? I know you’re using a 4090 but it seems like 10-20 fps more.

all games are bottle-necking your 4090 with both these cpus' , open your yes and see the GPu utilization, it's less than cpu in all games ....Grow up before teaching others ....

I'm considering getting the 5700x3D because I am having issues in space marine 2 with my 5600x. Does anybody know if i'll get a noticable performance increase by upgrading?
