Might work on a buffer and emergency fund first before anything else. I am trying to decide what amount would be good for an emergency fund? I like the $500 amount for the buffer fund to be honest. But everything has gotten so expensive that I don't know how much would be useful to have in an emergency fund anymore. A few years ago I would of said $1, 000. Now? No idea..
