I've ordered a GT lineS AWD Petrol mild hybrid. Comes in under the crucial £40k. Had the test drive and my wife and I were smitten. Double panoramic sun roof makes the car so light and airy. Infotainment system works well with my iPhone too. Reliability and 7 year warranty make the choice of this car a no brainer. Looks great too.

I saw no mention of real world MPG testing in city and highway. What were your observations?

Great review. I’ve just ordered the GT-Line S AWD in green and black. Test drove the 2WD version at the dealer and loved it. I’ve been in Qashqais for the last 6 years but this new Sportage edged it this time round

Only disappointment I had was that the electric tailgate was only available on the top trim which was out of my price range. We are waiting for the delivery of the Sportage 1.6 T-GDI 48V 148 3 ISG DCT 22 and currently wishing my life away :D

Here in the U.S., I got my wife a 2.5L, 8-speed, gas-powered one for $25, 210.00 We're getting 38-42 mpg, highway, and 28-32, city driving!!!

As always video has NEVER shown underneath the car it always the way it looks and typical cosmetics. No information about breaking system, suspension or exhaust systems. Those qualities aren showing in any video except external and internal cosmetics. I suggest you 👉NEXT time to show suspension, barking systems and exhaust system. Those are even more important than just external and internal appearance!!❤️🕊️🌍👌👍

I just ordered my second sportage (current is a 19 plate). Second car is GT Line S with AWD (as first which was 2.0 d) but new one is a self-charging hybrid. The test drive was in GT Line with the same 1.6 turbo engine and it's really nippy. Last one was the most reliable car I ever had. I leased the last one but am buying the new one. Should get it in December!

I placed an order for a GT Line 1.6 manual transmission. My Mrs wants a new kitchen and bathroom this year otherwise I would have paid extra for the higher spec GT Line S, I hope I don't regret my decision of letting my Mrs win that argument. But to be honest I have always preferred manual gearboxes and in the past I've realised that I have paid for things on higher spec cars that I never use or need. Apparently the waiting time is approx 16 weeks according to my dealer but I'll take that with a pinch of salt. I've gone for Dark Penta Metal as it looks class.

Check out the difference between the two auto gearboxes. I read that the 6 speed auto is a little clunky? I have a Sportage 4th gen with DCT auto and it’s been really smooth 3 years with no issues even in heavy traffic. I’m going to test drive both in the new model before deciding.

The most stupidy confusing car model range ever!
Eg pay more for 3 spec and lose nicer suede seats and free red colour to awful brown colour. But gain extra 12.3 display.
Went for lease deal, 1.6t mild hybrid auto, no AWD, gt-line. Only £5 per month more than cheapest auto, 48v diesel with no electric motor.

Test drove the Sportage earlier today and ordered the GT Line Hybrid in Dark Penta Metal colour. Currently got the Niro hybrid and this seemed like the logical move up. Now to wait 16 weeks for delivery :D
