We waited ten months for our sxp. So far its great. Potholes or bumps are rough but overall, better value than the mazda cx5 we traded in.

First time I have seen someone reference being able to Swap positions of the Volume button (from L to R side of panel).
Another trick mentioned elsewhere is the ability to set a Default for that dual-control panel, so it always returns to either media or climate settings.
Beyond that: decent quick overview; liked the piano black comments; lighting when showing off luggage area could have been better.

Great walkthrough. Our daughter recently had an accident, so we gave her my wifes 2020 Kia Seltos, and are looking at the GT spec 2024 Sportage in the hybrid version as a replacement. They certainly do look like a pretty good car, and excellent value for money

The default Eco mode is great, but the sport mode not only gives the car an extra boost in speed, but the handling even tightens up and the suspension. It's more of a performance driving mode. We don't really use it except for occasionally.

We tried the Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CRV, this beat both. We've always had Hondas in the past. One thing that helps is they have this EX trim, it's quite a bargain. A lot cheaper than the Honda EX, but with better tech and safety. We don't have a sunroof, but in reality I don't find those mean all that much.

I own the gt line trim sportage here in the uk and i get 58 mpg combined

You can do all the audio stuff if you like from the steering wheel.

You can get the EX with the EX premium package and it comes in at about 35k. Either way everything you need or want. Except the premium stereo

Do not like the piano black (fingerprints). The dashboard shows a lot of reflection and fading
because of angles. This would be horrible while driving.
I got rid of a Honda with a digital speedometer for that very reason.
The sun would sometimes be at an angle where I could not see it.
This looks the same .

Are you presenting a FULL hybrid or a PLUG IN hybrid? You mention having to charge the battery so I'm confused. My current vehicle is a full hybrid 2008 Prius, which I've never had to recharge. Please clarify. Thanks.

Any impressions of how the speakers/radio sounds on this model (the standard speaker setup?) I'm not looking for window shaking bass, but some entry level systems are pretty good, others are really bad. Wondering how this one rates for music?

2024 model rear seat floor mat is too is too big and doesn't fit.

One of the worst reviews I've seen. He must have forgot that the car doesn't have a rear bumper. Climate controls for the AC are touch screen. I'll pass on that. Horribe Car. LED bulbs that only the dealer can replace at a hefty cost.
