I can’t put that much water on my hardwood floors they will warp I have manufactured hardwood. May be a damp cloth, No mopping, maybe another clean, damp swiffer. With a cloth right behind it to dry it. When cleaning lady mopped my brand new floors and she took the shine off of them. It’s never come back.

I would definitely be trying a hard floor cleaning machine filled with a vinegar water mix. It’s basically a wet dry vac for hard floors. It flushes clean water through a rotating brush roll that then wets and scrubs the floor and immediately sucks up the dirty water into a separate tank. 10/10

Or just take off your shoes. I've never understood why people wear shoes in the house. In my country we just take off our shoes. If someone walked in with shoes on it would be considered disrespectful. I understand how this could happen in a school or business tho where shoes are worn inside.

I was thinking a carpet shampooer so it sucks it up
