I find it very fitting that Marowak is the error sprite.

Y’know, with the ghost in Lavender Town being a Marowak, implying that you’ve merely hacked ghosts of the code into broad daylight in your game

It would have been funny if Mew had a reaction like Mew remembers a time where it got stuck under this truck.

We now know that the truck was used in a developmental build as scenery in a town that was left out of the final game. One of the developers, probably the artist who made the truck tiles decided to put it on the Vermilion Port map as an easter egg between developers, assuming players wouldn't find ways to get to it.

I thought numbers are easy to leave behind, but the fact it kept the “moonlight pokemon” behind. It kept strings of text I wasn’t expecting.

P - pissed = a false rumor
T - tears = heart broken
S - shame = time wasted
D - demolished = childhood dead.
