Woman wins lawsuit against partner who wore men's clothes

A 40-year-old woman filed a pain-and-suffering lawsuit against her 42-year-old partner who convinced her she was a man for the duration of their three year relationship by wearing men's clothes. On Monday, the Kobe District Court ordered the woman in drag to pay 2 million Japanese Yen in damages.

The suspect lied about her sex, telling the victim that she couldn't be naked in front of the victim because of an unspecified illness. She later asked the victim to marry her, via e-mail, and the two got engaged and moved in together.

After their engagement, the pair ran a bar together. The victim reportedly received only half-a-million Japanese Yen in annual wages.

The victim sued her partner for 3 million Japanese Yen and the suit was settled for 2 million.
