Sena Smart Intercom Pairing

Smart Intercom Pairing is here for quick and easy Bluetooth® pairing! Sena is committed to the continued support for our diverse portfolio of products. Smart Intercom Pairing (SIP) allows for an easy way to connect using a smartphone to scan QR codes to quickly pair devices to one another. Nearly all Sena devices, along with many Sena-powered OEM devices, with Bluetooth 4.1 and up can use their respective app in order to quickly pair with other SIP compatible headsets.

While many products already have access to SIP, the new feature will soon be rolling out for over 60 Sena and Sena-powered OEM devices. In addition to Sena branded devices, SIP will be supported by our partner products, which include Sena-powered communication devices by Harley-Davidson, Schuberth, Shoei, HJC, Polaris, Klim, Nexx, ICON, AGV, and more. When the group is all connected everything is good. Getting connected is usually the hard part, so I'm glad to see Sena making an attempt at making this easier. However, this still seems like it's so much work and effort on our part. Really would like to see you guys continue to make the user experience more simplified. Also, please update the outdated design of the apps!

Senas system is so over complicated. Should be simply: press button to connect to phone app and then do everything in the app. Im 35 and its too complicated to remember..

if this feature uses smartphone to pair, why there are only 3 pairing slots for 10S? Why the app cannot remember any amount of paired devices and let user to pick which 3 devices to save on 10S memory?

So if silver goes home, white can't talk to black or red. This happens to us all the time mostly because the last rider is too far back and breaks the chain.

SOLVED : The Sena Utility app would crash when I tried pairing my 2 Sena Pi units using the QR-based Smart method (SIP). The problem - they were on and paired with my phone. Turning them off let the app work as intended. It seems the app merely stores the pairing info and provides it using the QR code, so the pairing is essentially done offline and/or "pre-paired" within the app, and transmitted to the device on next pairing. Then the quick-tap intercom-start became active between the 2 Pi units. A bit odd and frustrating that Sena didn't say the Pis must be off.

I could listen to music before. I reset my phone today. Afterwards, I wanted to connect to the helmet again. However, the blue light on the Bluetooth does not turn off. Even though I press the buttons, the blue light does not turn off. Bluetooth Outrush R v1.1.3 appears on the phone, but it does not connect. I am waiting for your help.

How do you pair the H.D. NS10 to my Sena outrush ?

I have the SMH10R with the latest firmware. The SENA Utility app says it doesn’t work and to update the firmware. This is the app with the QR code. I get the following text.
“If your headset cannot be connected with this app, please update your headset to the latest firmware version.”

The SENA RideConnected app (v1.1) works but is very limited.

I cannot connect my phone to the SPH10H-FM in app but it's connected where I can talk on phone ?. I look in list under the three bars on top and no SPH10H-FM! WHY? WHATS GOING ON?
