I’m actually considering quitting my job. One of the doctors I work for literally told me he's lost all his LVN's because they couldn't handle working with the other LVN because of all her different moods and how mean she is to them.
He told me this because he suspects I want to leave. I spoke with the doctor I work for today and asked him if he knows this LVN has driven all the past LVN’s out of there, why has he never said anything? He told me he’s gone to the administrators several times and nothing ever happens. I’ve already spoken to HR and nothing’s changed. I love the patients, but I don’t think how I’m being treated is good for my mental health.

Not so easy in state positions and military positions, many years invested in careers and benefits and eventually retirement ement benefits

Being a male nurse, I had to be extra careful because some these female nurses LIE! Sorry ladies but it’s true, I honestly stay away from females in any form of professional setting, if it doesn’t just have to be in the clinical setting, if communication isn’t about getting the Job done, I mind my own. BUT, all I had to do was pull the ring leader aside and set them straight on the spot, in a way that rattled the individual enough to leave me alone. At the time I’d just gotten out of the military so I put that bravado & persona to good use, it only took me 5 minutes to set the tone & give me one of the single most peaceful years in nursing I’ve ever had before I applied to CRNA school. After that interaction the only issues I had to deal with were work related. Funny how easy a job can be when you make your attentions clear. You don’t have to be combative, but you have to be assertive. But currently I’m on a board that is addressing this very issue & ways to-eradicated it. I don’t recommend people go the route I did, as I had to do what worked for me in my situation, as I had no intention of staying longer than I needed, in order to get into CRNA school. I don’t recommend it to people planning to build relationships & stay at their jobs for a lengthy amount of time.
