Matt, another great video, content is spot on. I prefer bank sticks as well. In some instances a pod works as well. My issue with pods has always been (when lifting into a fish, agree no need to violently set a hook if your setup is working and fishing correctly), removing the rod from the pod on a take, the entire pod is disturbed, other alarms are jolted with movement, etc. Bank sticks can pretty much be used in every situation. Thanks for your insight and reasoning on why you do what you do. Cheers from the U.S.!

Good video, your approach is much sophisticated than mine. I used to use just 1 bank stick till I had a runner pull my rod into the lake. It was a bass spinning set up of moderate value, luckily I had a Cush-it (foam coozy thing fits tight on rod bottom) on rod. I was able to see it on the surface & followed it for about an HR till the line got broke off & fished it out using a surface walking bait with my other rod. Now I now use a velcro strap attached to front bank stick.
