Alex Hirsch Talks About His Flannel Jacket

It's Alex and Ariel Hirsch's birthday today. In honour of that, and because I didn't have anything planned to upload today cause I was busy on other projects, here's a clip from the Gravity Falls box set that came out in 2018. In it, Alex talks about his iconic flannel jacket, why he wears it all the time, and how it all connects with Gravity Falls.

I had a green hoodie that I wore for about 6 years straight. By the end of its life, it had been sewn at least 20 times, but I still wouldn't get rid of it. Then one day, my parents had to force me to get rid of it because it "wasn't suitable for public wearing".
I now have a new green jacket...

I love how he made dipper and Mabel based off his own sibling relationship with his sister. And the fact that he wore the exact same jacket every day is so much like dipper, And how his sister wore colourful sweaters. I really miss gravity falls it was the greatest show ever

It sucks that the box set is only available in Canada (and the US). I know so many fans who live outside of them that seriously want the box set, but can't cause of the region lock.
