I live in Canada and love my Swiss friends! They are true, honest, healthy, and caring. Same can be said for my German friends. I find I am constantly drawn to the Germanic speaking countries and people (including Austria). ❤️

This method of interviewing people is most successful. I studied German literature in American schools for years but it didn’t help with everyday German. This channel, and others like it, have opened up for me a new awareness of how Germans actually speak. These videos are enjoyable and rewarding.

Ich habe dank AFS ein Austausch in der Schweiz gemacht. Ich habe in Kanton Thurgau für 4 Monate gelebt und es war eine tolle Erfahrung. Ich ging in die Schule da, habe guten Freunden begegnet und viel gelernt. Zweifelsohne ist das etwas, dass jeder machen sollte. Exchange student zu sein, meine ich. Die Zeit in der Schweiz ist zu mir eben unvergesslich! 💞

I'm from Mexico and I've visited both countries several times, once a year or more sometimes. I love both countries and  I've always found really nice people in both. Driving in the alps from one country to the other is one of my favorite things to do when I'm there. There are things I admire from both countries and I like the fact that they we are so different in our cultures because I learn a lot. I have some friends from Germany, but I don't  have any Swiss friends, so I know a little bit more about Germany from a local's perspective (Munich, Dusseldorf, Berlin). I always try to get to know more about both countries and that's why I enjoy videos like this, where they talk to people and ask them what they think.
