In case someone doesnt know you can actually save her life with a good ending, you just have to take the frenzy flame, burn the tree, she gets mad and leaves without dying and then you remove the frenzy flame at Farum Azula using the needle that Malenia gives to you. Then you can get Ranni or any other ending and Melina will be alive and not hunting or hating you. That with Ranni's ending is my canon ending

It always struck me as odd that they don't account for you lighting yourself on fire, then banishing it with the dragon, meaning she didn't burn

Our maid, i think its Theorolina, the dead maiden when we woke in the beginning of the game. Some time later she is turned into a puppet by Seluvis, and i think her sister Anastasia try to avenge her death by killing the tarnished who coul'dnt save her, its why she invade us three times in the game. At a church near Caelid, in Gelmir and a last time in the consecrated Snowfields. Her story, or i think it is, is really tragic, we only interract with her one time, before the Radhann festival, the only time she acknowledge that we are her destined tarnished but she is controlled by Seluvis at that time. Its so easy to just ignore that, to not understand, her story can be so easily ignored, thats the most tragic aspect of that.
