Cool Underwire Hack!

A great trick if your underwires are coming out or just plain poking you!

Thank you so much for this. I have a similar problem with sensitivity to the wires despite being professionally fitted. I was going to line the wire under the bust with moleskin. Your solution will be even better as I have the same pads I took out of a sports top so will sew on some strips instead. I may repurpose some old ill fitting padded bras too. I'm very happy that I can save a bit of money and that it will be a more permanent fix. You are a life saver ❤

Best hack! It literally saved my life! I had wish I had known this sooner before throwing out tons of expensive bras.

A great way I've found to fix annoying underwire poaking through is to snip off the end of underwire with wire cutters, just a centimetre and push back in and stitch material closed so no more impaling your armpits or cleavage. Can also use hot glue gun and apply to the sharp end of underwire you've just trimmed before sewing hole closed .

Thank you! I just bought a new one that I loved in the store but after a few hours of wear I got stabbed. Nothing punched through the fabric but I got rubbed raw by it. All sales final from the store I bought from. I’ll try this!

Great idea! Most other videos require moleskin, which I don't have on hand, nor can find in our tiny town! But I DO have an old bikini top I can remove the padding from to use! Gonna go try this now! (Praying 🙏🏼 I have your success! 😆 ) TYVM! ❤️

I just put mine back in and uses fabric glu to close up the stitch
