Your channel is so crazy underrated, there has been a ton of videos covering the leak, and yours is by far the most insightful one! Although the soc is capable of ray tracing, I'm not super sure how well it'll actually do, especially with the high resolution and high refresh rate of a VR headset. Its a tiny, power efficient mobile chip after all, and I'm worried since even my laptop can't run ray tracing at that high of a framerate. It could be used for the lightest, little RT workloads but that won't do much more than a small flourish for visuals

as mostly a VR Chat player my biggest hope here is that quest 3 VR Chat is the PC version on like low graphics settings or something.
I doubt it but a man can dream.

My personal take is that these "leaks" are curated by Meta. They never tell us anything we don't know or suspect. Give me a leak that details RAM, VRAM and the specific version of the CPU and then I will believe it is a genuine leak. Otherwise, it's just getting people talking about the headset.
If the charging dock came with rechargeable batteries for the controllers and you could wirelessly charge I "may" be tempted but the pricing of Meta with accessories will more than likely put me off and I will probably wait for a 3rd party version.

Meta quest 3 vs Pico 4 pro. We'll see how they compare sooner or later. No matter how good the pico is i'm not getting one. I have trust issues with anything bytedance related.
