The Quest 3 was just announced and it can do a lot more than the Quest 2 or even Quest Pro at a cheaper price, coming in 2023! Mark Zuckerberg announced lots of new VR games at the meta Quest Gaming Showcase including Assasins Creed VR, Power Washing Simulator, Ghostbusters VR and a new headset!

God I’m glad that it’s improving. I really didn’t see the worth in upgrading to a Q2.

But man do I wish there was a decent competitor.

(Yes the Q2 is good, it just made more sense for me to upgrade from a Q1 to a Q3. Skipping 2 because the difference from 1-2 wasn’t as worth it as the jump from 1-3)

I just recieved my quest 3 two to three days ago. My son also got one for Christmas & loves it! Now he is actually getting into the beautiful world of VR instead of being on his Xbox or Nintendo Switch so much plus its winter so there isnt much playing out in that freezing weather. But We both got one for Christmas the only change was i exchanged my Quest 2 in for the Quest 3 a few days ago.


And replying to the video since when was the Oculus Quest 3 $450? Im in the
United States & the listed price here for the 128 GB is $ 499.99 I paid around $ 532.00 after taxes. Which i have 27 days left to exchange it in for the 512 GB $680.00 I should have bought the 512GB the first time arond but i was told the game sizes were on the smaller side & that it would be more than enough on both my quest and my sons quest. Mind you my nintendo switch OLED SD card went from a 128 GB all the way up to finally got the 1TB SD card. Sadly i filled it up and have about 100 GB left of memory on my Switch. But They should have made the 128 GB quest to a 512 GB and the 512 GB quest to the 1TB.

I bought a ps vr 2 and returned it. After using quest, it’s hard to go back to a tethered experience.

Maybe its a dumb question, but can you walk around and have those movements be tracked and reflected in the gameplay? Im not sure if thsts just standard with every VR headset these days...

yo congrats to Zuck for making really cool products that are big upgrades from the last model and are really cool. Right now, Meta is doing something considered impossible for apple

Just imagine if we got the iPhone 15 pm level of camera on it for mixed and just quality of life. I show my friends the mixed reality stuff and while they think the cool the gravity like distortion you get sometimes and the quality of image really turns people off. Can’t wait for what the quest 4 has in store!
