On this special episode of Dr. Osborne's Zone, we're focusing on the gluten-free diet, addressing common misconceptions and hidden sources of gluten in food and products. I can't overemphasize the importance of understanding what contains gluten and what does not, and I'll be categorizing foods into red, yellow, and green zones based on their safety for gluten-sensitive individuals.

The discussion will also highlight the potential for gluten to pass into breast milk, pseudograins, and best practices for label reading. With this episode, I aim to empower individuals to make informed dietary choices for better health! Join me at 12:30 PM Central on Thursday!

I nearly lost my eyesight using gluten containing mascara. I'm so sensitive that I just quit wearing it. Gonna make my own.

If you are into reading labels, take note that "flavour enhancer 621" is actually MSG. There are many other chemicals added as a "flavour enhancer", probably most of them should be avoided.

After I stopped smoking cigarettes this February, after 25 years. I became gluten sensitive. I'm currently still trying to heal peptic ulcers from taking advil for years, but when I stopped everything gluten my migraines went away. I'm still really really curious to know how cigarette smoking masked gluten issues.

I had a bottle of hair conditioner made with beer. Soon after I tried the first time(while my Dermatitis was gone on my hands) I got blisters straight away on my hands.
It definitely can panetrate your skin. Just think about the safety conduct working in restaurants. It is compulsory to wear heavy duty gloves to use industrial dish soap and dish washing machine. Otherwise it could cause serious illness. With that logic, Definitely a yes with gluten can panetrate through skin.

What about yeast? Many baked goods may have GF flour but can use yeast obtained from grains (e.g. bakers yeast)?
