I started drinking 1 smoothie in the morning and not eat until dinner time. This has helped me cut down on snacking throughout the day. It definitely takes discipline to avoid the sweets

I make my own smoothie. 1 cup of kale. 1 cup of mixed berries. 2 tablespoons of chia seeds. A small piece of 100% cocoa chocolate. 1.5 cups of water. For the kale, I really pack and compress the measuring cup to ensure I get enough kale. I even add a little more. I've been taking it for 7 years, and people always ten me I look 10 years younger than I look. Try it!

This is my go to smoothie recipe:

1 handful of kale.
1 handful of spinach.
1 small handful of blueberries.
1 and a half bananas.
1/2 tablespoon peanutbutter.
1 tablespoon Hemp Protein Powder.
2 teaspoons Chia seeds.
1 small handful almonds.
1 teaspoon Collagen powder.
1/2 teaspoon of matcha, cinnamon, ginger powder and turmeric.
1 teaspoon Spirulina powder.
Rice milk or almond milk.

This recipe equals to about two large portions - i drink one in the morning and one in the evening - it makes me feel full all day :)

Before people disagree with smoothies I'd like to know how fruits and vegetables in smoothies without sugars oils and high protein powders will be bad for you? Most of us could use a smoothie a day filled with greens and fruits

After eating struggle meals like noodles, junk food(cakes, cookies, etc) I decided to not order door dash today. Instead I Instacart me some fruits, oats, yogurt, and juice etc best decision EVER.😊 I never felt this amaze before wanting to try something different that's a healthier option.

If you're coming off of the standard american diet and you're on smoothies filled with healthy fruit and veggies, you will be fine! The amount of fiber in fruit and veggies will do you good and likely NOT send your blood sugar through the roof unless you're also adding unhealthy foods to the mix. I know this from personal experience! Check your blood sugar often if you must and listen to your body.

They’re good calories. Calories are energy and your body burns it. Processed food calories are harder to burn and cause fat. Artificial sweeteners with no calories don’t get burned so the body has to store it and cause weight gain. Sugar is processed so it’s bad but better than artificial. Fruit sugar is natural and unprocessed and the body easily burns it

3/4 cup almond milk
1 cup frozen strawberries about 10 medium/large berries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 5-ounce container Greek yogurt
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

I also like to add some greens like spinach and kale along with a little bit of flax seed. Makes for a great lunch! I have it every day and I love it!

just FYi, all fruits contain fructose which is not processed through your pancrease at all. fructose gets processed and dissolved through the beginning of your gastrointestinal tract and does not affect insulin. vegtables however contain glucose, so too much of certain vegetables high in sugar can affect your insulin levels.

Been drinking smoothies for about a month. Just a 16-20oz with chia seeds and protein. Lost about 6 lbs so far. I also eat a lot less. Example- salad for dinner, biggest mean lunch time

I make mine with dragonfruit, a banana, blueberries, raspberries, oatmeal, strawberries, cantalope, mangos, pineaples, peaches, carrots and spinach, with a bit of water. 🧉
