Hi there!  Two things: 1.  When I try to do this is says "Cannot insert Object" and when I click OK it put a big blank box onto my speadsheet.  2.  I would prefer to link an entire folder as opposed to a single document, is this possible?  *note that the files I am trying to link are WORD documents.

I just did this, but it's a multi-page document an only inserted the 1st page. Is there a way to insert all the pages?

Hi I embedded word file in excel. It works right after embedding. However, after saving and close excel, and open excel again it does not work with the message "Can not start the source of the object!". Please help . Thanks

This is great information. Is there a way to just add the icon on the spreadsheet without it showing the path? When I browse the document and choose the one I want if it's name is just "John Doe" it doesn't display just the icon and John Doe. It's displaying the complete path.

Does anyone know how to link Microsoft Word comments (which are labeled [Comment D#] individually into an Excel spreadsheet? I want to be able to sort comments and place them into the sheet by typing the comment number into columns. Is this possible?

I know it doesn't matter, but I am one for attention to detail. I would like to point out that he embedded an excel document into excel. The file he chose had an extension of .xlsx, which is excel. Technically the title of this video is incorrect. But like I said, I pay attention to detail no matter how big or small that detail is.

You embedded an Excel file into an Excel file, not a Word file into an Excel file. Assuming it's the same result? What about multi-page Word files. Your video leaves much to be desired for even the basic functions you're advertising to solve.
