When you duplicate an animation, lets say a Door. You rotate this door object, the animation for rotation might be in a different orientation or position. Reapplying root motion will allow you to play this animation exactly like it was in another position, as it's something that annoyingly happens.

i have a question about Root in Avatar Mask. I have 2 different Animation Layers, one has all the Avatar Mask (including Root), the other an Avatar Mask that only overrides the Hands. i noticed that in the override layer (avatar mask with only hands) i can't rotate the animation with Root Rotation Offset cause i haven't included Root in Avatar Mask. and from what i see if i override the Root the animation goes Banza. i can't find any simple fix about that. everyone shows multiple Animation Layers but no one uses Root Rotation Offset in both animation layers cause their animations are exaclty centered. 😒 i just want to rotate a bit the attack animation so the player attacks in front rather in sideways. so simple but can't fix it 😐

If I interact with the door before it has completed the animation of the last interaction, the door doesn't know to stop at the correct places. Best fix for this?
