Thank you for being harsh on this chapter, despite being a Fog Whisperer. Thank you for being honest and tell the truth. This chapter is terrible, we can easily see it’s been rushed. The power is not even a power

I think there’s a lesson here for those of us who didn’t appreciate Trickster, Legion or Knight: It can always get worse. And I think her walking animation, yes, it’s sexy, and was used as a way to use her hotness to compensate her lack of substance everywhere else, and appeal to the community’s undeniable thirst.

Skull Merchant is the one Killer that a simple power rework, buff, or nerf isn't going to come close to fixing her. She needs a complete overhaul of LITERALLY EVERYTHING. And I mean that 100%.

Judging by the look, this killer sounds like a placeholder for a Predator skin. If they're not doing it, they're missing out on a big opportunity.

Yeah, this seems more like a fan concept. What do the skulls have to do with the drones other than decoration? Why attach the additional weight to a drone when it could carry a weapon or something instead? Skull merchant sounds really sinister like chopping heads off and decorating the map with skulls.

I’m glad to see a fog whisperer speaking out, it’s pretty rare. The community needs to let BHVR know that this chapter is so below the bar and this can never happen again.

I’m glad someone said this! I’ve never been upset with DBD but man when the reveal for this chapter came out….. like are you serious! After the knight you give us someone as basic as “The Skull Merchant”. Really sucks.

One huge mistake the devs do when testing new killers/perks/maps is they are testing everything... with other devs! And devs are not good at the game, most of them don't even look behind them in a chase. They need to take very skilled people with a good understanding of the game and get them to test everything. They will come with feedback and see what needs to be done to properly balance the chapter

I think the Killer has an amazing design… if she was in a different game.

I think of an action game where you play as her on a revenge rampage or something and it seems so cool. But as a DbD killer it’s disappointing.

I genuinely think they were planning on this chapter being a Predator chapter but the license deal fell through. They probably had to scramble to throw something together to meet the release date. The claw, the three-dot symbol when tracking, all of it just seems too coincidental. This chapter seems so scrappily thrown together and rushed, that’s the only explanation I can come up with. If that really is the case, that sucks, both for Behavior and for us- but they have to come forward and address it rather than just letting it sit as is.

This chapter feels incredibly rushed and is quite bad overall, but that fills me with a little bit of hope. Because the only reason for this chapter to be rushed would be if the majority of their team is working on the anniversary chapter. And I’m expecting a huge license this year 😊😊😊

I kinda wish the whole killer would be scrapped and taken back to the shop. BHVR needs to realize that we don’t want the new chapter out super fast if it’s not good work. They need to devote a decent amount of time to making a chapter before trying to release it quickly.

I think her power is just really just missing an attack of some kind. I am amazed that they didn’t give her an attack drone. Imagine your pov switches to a drone and you get to fly it straight into a survivor and damage them.
