I think some people don't like this book because of the overhype.They get into this book knowing certain stuff that happens later in the series, so they don't enjoy this . I am on the third book now. so far loving this series. somethings were spoiled for me but still loving this ..

One of the most formulaic and bland authors that managed to make a name. She makes books for people who blindly follow big numbers and think “wow a lot of people wasted their money here, that means it must be good.” Mass produced industrial slop for the over-consuming masses who believe the physical appearances of the MCs and the rushed generic romance of a story is more important than actual writing talent. The fast food of storytelling.

Why y'all hating a person for nothing....Even I don't think the book ain't overrated....I mean ACOTAR was so freakin good I'd say....But TOG isn't anything like it....The thing that annoys me the most is idk who to ship Aelin has so many love started by Ben, then Archer, then Ilias, then Sam, maybe Arobynn too, then Dorian, then Chaol, then she didn't love him but she got jealous for Luca, and Finally don't freakin get why she falls for every guy she meets....even she was about to accept Archer 's offer of bedding goddamit the shipping thing was just between 4 of them....Sam, Dorian, Chaol and I'd always love Feyre but Aelin.... she's so arrogant....nd about killing killing for Arobynn won't do anything to her conscience but killing for the King of Adarlan I don't get was arrogant and morally grey and all of a sudden she starts being so sweet....WHAT THE HELL IS THE I'M NOT EVEN DONE WITH THE SERIES AND I JUST DON'T WANT TO CONTINUE.... HER CHARACTER ANNOYS ME SO MUCH
