The mission where Arthur gets his things stolen from that street kid is just... I wish there was a skip button for that mission.

The course of true love in my opinion was alright. For a side mission at least. It was nice to see these two, who were apart of two separate families that hated each other, finally being able to be free and head somewhere new. That alligator mission was probably pointless, but the gator scared me. Especially when you know how big it is.

Dude country pursuits was so immersive, I loved the atmosphere of being in a swamp at night.

Country Pursuits was an excellent mission and the dialogue was extremely important in establishing Dutch and Arthur’s standing in their relationship. It firmly establishes Dutch’s descent into madness to any audience that may have been questioning him and solidifies Arthur’s loyalty to Dutch in spite of his doubts.

Not only that, but it’s a nice parallel to the mission in Chapter 1 where Hosea and Arthur track down the legendary grizzly bear. Hosea and Dutch were both father figures to Arthur and while Hosea’s mission takes place in the more temperate climate of Ambarino’s East Grizzlies during the daytime, Dutch’s mission takes place in the moist and miserable swamp of Lemoyne. This paints a stark picture of How it Started vs How it’s Going

To some, Country Pursuits may have been a boring mission to play, especially next to more exhilarating missions like Pouring Fourth Oil and American Venom, but it was an excellent mission for players with regard for characterization and plot.

The names of the missions are actually something really like. They could all be the name of a movie or a book, thats how good they all are

Country Pursuits is definitely my favourite mission ! In fact, it hits me right in the heart…
On the one hand it’s a very important mission in which we learn so much things about Dutch’s vision of his gang : it’s the first time he says Micah is the only loyal member, and he doesn’t hesitate to criticise Hosea and Abigail… He also speaks about separating as a threat.
On the other hand, it’s very personal : this mission is almost the perfect illustration of the most traumatising experience I’ve ever had. When I was only ten, I had an accident : a boat ran over me. I was in the water and i was injured, I felt the water entering my feet. My father took me out of the river into his boat and saved my life. This mission fits incredibly well to this accident, it shocked me so much ! The boat ran over me and I was injured (like Jules when he was bitten), then the water skier towed by the boat almost hit me right in the face (like Jules when he was bitten once more), my father put me in his boat (like Arthur who saved Jules), he yelled at the driver who hit me as Arthur and Dutch fought the gator, when I arrived at the shore of the river people waited there to take me out of the boat like it happened in this mission, and they gave me a bandage (like Arthur did). Moreover my father had to make a pressure point to stop the bleeding like Arthur did.

I’m still shocked about how this mission is so much close to this accident. It was a very tough experience. I’be been unable to handle the feeling of water over my feet for more than 2 years, I still have to endure pain when one of my feet hits something or in case of humidity 8 years later. Indeed, my feet were both fractured and injured : I lost a lot of blood. Thus, this mission is very important to me !

I’m sorry if I made mistakes, English isn’t my native language !

I liked the swamp atmosphere for country pursuits, and I like the slow pacing of the mission

Country pursuits was actually good, thank you very much. It had so much tension while just walking you fear gators. And then when Dutch yelled, “DONT TURN AROUND SON, KEEP GOING” I shit my pants.

I know this isn’t typical, least not to my knowledge. But I personally loved all the missions on Pronghorn Ranch. It was a nice change of pace to have to take care of animals and just be a ranch hand after the chaos that was chapter 6.

Now all I ask is Rockstar to let us make a ranch with friends in RDO.

Actually country pursuit has a very cool part where in the water you have to escape the giant alligator, with a very immersive soundtrack. and then you have to shot non-stop on the alligator. i really like it
